Will it be a Manchester derby at MICFootball?

The autumn is here at that means one thing: we star announcing teams for the next MICFootball. Last week we begun by confirming the presence of two European giants and for this week we tend to do the same. For now, we can announce Manchester City for the next Mediterranean International Cup.

Since sheik Mansour arrival back in 2008, the citizens have grown exponentially. We all know their big signings of every summer that make their squad one of the best in Europe, but at the same time they are investing a lot in their academy. Manchester City has built the considered one of the finest Training Centre of the world, where some of the best prospects in Europe prepare for the future… After their past at MICFootball.

Eric García, Brahim Díaz and Adrià Bernabé have won the tournament and the last two have even been awarded as an MVP. Those three players, alongside others such as Phil Foden, are gaining importance in Guardiola’s plans every year. Sure there many other hidden gems in City’s Academy waiting to be discovered.

Without a doubt, Manchester City is one the teams that we will be following closely at MICFootball. Hopefully we will enjoy with players that we’ll see in professional football in a few years. Besides, unlike Manchester United, the citizens haven’t won MICFootball yet and for sure they will try to end with this.

Will it be a Manchester derby at Costa Brava? Too soon to know yet, but it would be great, wouldn’t it? Be posted…
