More Premier League and eastern talent for the MICFootball’19
Two more great teams for the MIC-Mediterranean International Cup at Costa Brava next Easter. They are two clubs which have been already here and which are coming back at our tournament to show us the good work they are doing at their academies. Two names known by everybody: Liverpool and Shakhtar Donetsk
Reds don’t need any introduction. The Merseyside squad returns to MICFootball for seventh time which make them a tournament’s regulars. From Liverpool have emerged some of the best british players like Robbie Fowler, Michael Owen, Jamie Carragher or Steven Gerrard. Eventhough they’ve signed great players their youth system is part of the club’s foundation. The last promoted player that has reached the first team is Trent Alexander-Arnold, who is one of the most important assets for Jurgen Klopp.
The other team confirmed this week is Shakhtar Donetsz. The ucranians repeat for third straight year at our youth football tournament. The political situation in their country is not the best but Shakhtar keeps fighting against the best teams in Europe every year. Paulo Fonseca, the Portuguese who coaches the team, is beginning to put some youngsters in the squad, like Viktor Kovalenko, who has played the 3 Champions League games of the season so far.
The 9 classes of MICFootball’19 will have great academies competing with the rest of the teams for the victory. Playing the MIC-Mediterranean International Cup is a dream within everyone reach, also yours. Don’t brood on it. We are waiting for you!
